The Engineering Academy was launched in 2002

to improve science and engineering education by incorporating courses that are project based and have a relevance to real world situations. The program includes business aspects as well as the core engineering education.  As part of the learning experience, the Academy is interested in placing students into local companies in intern positions.

The students in the intern program would be mostly students entering their senior year but could include some graduated seniors.  They are all very enthusiastic, hard working and interested in developing experience working with exciting high tech companies.  The program is looking to identify a number of paid part time positions for this coming summer.  Positions can be technical or non-technical. Examples include engineering, physics, medical, business, sales, architecture and graphic design.
