Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy slideshow The Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy provides students who are interested in science or engineering with the opportunity to supplement their education at Dos Pueblos High School with carefully designed, hands-on, college-preparatory science curriculum. Students with varied academic backgrounds benefit from exposure to engineering in an accessible yet challenging environment within the Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy, with an engaged and curious academic community. Although the engineering academy is interested in increasing the number of college-bound science and engineering students, it is not our intent to “groom” future engineers. Rather, our program will provide students with an exciting and unique opportunity to develop analytical and critical thinking skills that will benefit them in whatever career or academic path they choose to pursue.

The Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy will instill in students not only an appreciation for science and engineering, but also a passion for learning that extends into all areas of knowledge. The curriculum will offer students the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they gain to tangible, project-based engineering problems.
