In the FIRST Robotics Championship event in Atlanta, Georgia, Team 1717 returned to excel in competition, advancing to the division finals along with our awesome alliance members, Team 2775 Jackson Area Robotics, and Team 870 RICE. Additionally, the Penguinbot won the Motorola Quality Award at the Championships, an honor which “celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication.”
